Kidney problems or nothing at all? - stomach ache and kidney failure

I have dull pain in lower back and stomach pain upper right. The pain comes and goes, some time will take several seconds to several minutes. I do not know if I need another kidney. I was pregnant to provide a half years with my first child and was suffering from kidney failure, my doctor, but no system to renal failure. The only problem I had was to leave my urine, I thought it was a part of the pregnancy. So, I'm not sure if I have a big part of that or maybe just a muscle cramp, what will happen.
